CSLL Opening Weekend 2022

We will start the Festivities Friday April 29.

We will have the Opening Ceremonies at Haley Toyota Field at Salem Memorial Ballpark in Salem Va the home of the Salem Red Sox.

The festivities begin at 5:10 pm with a screening of "Rookie of the Year."
at 6:45 teams will begin gathering for the on field ceremonies, which include the ever popular Parade of Teams.

We will also be inducting the inaugural Class of 2022 into the Cave Spring Little League Hall of Fame.

Friday at Opening Day Cave Spring Little League will induct its inaugural class into The Hall of Fame!

Robert Herskovitz

Coach Herskovitz served Cave Spring American Little League from 1969-1992 as Manager of the Majors Phillies. He was instrumental in the formation of the American League and influenced many to also give back to Little League in the Valley.

Jerry Ellis

Coach Ellis served Cave Spring National Little League for over 30 years. He was a long time Manager of the Roanokers. He influenced and motivated many young men to be the best version of themselves and he also influenced many to give back to Little League in the Valley.

Josh Lafferty

Last Summer we lost Coach Lafferty to COVID, and while his service to Cave Spring Little League was brief it was impactful.
Josh was a willing servant to the mission of CSLL and loved teaching the young men he coached the value of competition and giving your best.

Please join us Friday night as we honor these men and their contributions that allow Cave Spring Little League to be the best Baseball Club and the best Recreation Sports Club in the Roanoke Valley.

Also, on Saturday at 9am on Starkey North 1 the Majors Roanokers and Phillies will play in the first ever Cave Spring Little League Hall of Fame Game. We hope to see you there.
